First time on an e-bike?
You’re not alone — most of our guests are first-timers. Here’s exactly what happens so you can relax and enjoy the ride.
1. We start with a proper briefing
David (or Suzanna) shows you how the pedal assist works, adjusts the seat and helmet, and lets you practice for a minute or two. There is no rush. You’ll know exactly how to start, stop and change assistance levels before you leave.
2. You control how much help you get
E-bikes don’t ride themselves. You still pedal — the motor just multiplies your effort. Want more help on a gentle rise? Turn the assist up. Want a bit of exercise? Turn it down. It’s that simple.
3. The trails are easy
Echuca Moama’s best rides are mostly flat shared paths and quiet tracks. The Scenic Tour is specifically designed for people who haven’t ridden much (or at all) recently. Plenty of photo stops, no steep climbs.
4. You’re never left behind
On a guided tour David rides at the pace of the group. On a self-guided hire you can stop whenever you like. The assist means mixed fitness groups stay together easily — one of the biggest reasons people love e-bikes.
5. What guests say after their first ride
“First time on an e-bike and we loved it. Perfect for any fitness level. David was informative and personable.” — Theo
“Easy for non-confident riders. Beautiful trail and great staff knowledge.” — Karen
